Scottish Nature Blogs
I was going to write another irate post on the wrong framing of the issues at the heart of the assisted dying bill, but I don’t have anything new to add to the previous post on the subject. So instead here are some enjoyable blogs dealing with Scottish nature.
Scottish Pollinators — probably the best discovery of recent weeks, the posts dealing with pollinators and their habitat are very erudite with loads of technical detail, and references for anyone wanted to pursue things further, but written in a very readable fashion; I wish there were more nature blogs like this.
Forvie National Nature Reserve — a bird blog, with lot of good quality, captioned, photographs.
Isle of May National Nature Reserve — another bird blog with lot of good quality photos (though not captioned, which is a pity).
Peatland ACTION — a blog about peatland restoration projects.
Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve — less frequently update blog from another Scottish NNR.
